The One Health Approach for Conservation (OHAC) – Gorilla Health dedicate itself to safeguarding mountain gorilla and preserving their habitats through a holistic approach that integrates rigorous scientific research, effective management practices in and around protected areas, Africa conservation efforts, and the implementation of ‘One Health Approach’ policies. Our mission is furthered by actively involving and motivating individuals to appreciate and cherish the wonders of nature.
To ensure alignment with the One Health Approach for Conservation (OHAC) – Gorilla Health mission, all student volunteers and interns are required to present a research proposal directly linked to our initiatives.
It’s essential to highlight that individuals intending to conduct research within the country or pertaining to the field of conservation or on the ”One Health Approach” must complete application forms, accompanied by a comprehensive proposal and CV, submitting duplicate copies to the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) or the Institut congolais pour la Conservation de la nature (ICCN).
