Primary Care for Your Pet

With primary care, you can enjoy the familiar one-on-one veterinarian relationship typically found in a family pet clinic, plus immediate access to the expertise of specialists.

At OHAC/ Gorilla Health, we understand that your pet is important in your family. Our routine appointments are longer than those of a typical veterinarian’s office, to ensure that you have time to get answers to all of your questions and concerns. Our primary care team is dedicated to the health of your pet and will complete a full physical examination before providing you with detailed follow-up information at the end of your visit. Our multiple services cover the spectrum of veterinary care, from routine vaccinations, treatment to pet’s management. We are committed to provide services in order to best serve your pet’s veterinary needs and even assist you in getting documents for your pet’s travel.

Training of sector veterinarian and veterinary interns

As a teaching organization, OHAC/ Gorilla Health are dedicated to training the veterinary experts in the field. The objectives of this program are to train individuals to be excellent emergency clinicians with a focus on preventing zoonotic disease and promoting One Health and Conservation awareness. We provide a support environment of teaching and learning through field practice. We work not only with veterinarians but also with wildlife managers and biologists interns which support our daily activities. The veterinary internship selection process will consider academic achievement, letters of recommendation, interpersonal skills and interest in teaching.

Pet management advice

Upon contact with your pet, we look for an examination area or a calm place. We take a medical history and conduct a physical examination, and then we will work with you to develop a diagnostic and treatment plan. Once a plan is agreed upon, we ensure that you are comfortable with the next steps in the treatment plan. And then, we provide advice for your pet’s management
